Cockatoo Embroidery operates as a small Australian business under the ABN 87427704208. We do not maintain a physical retail location and all correspondence is handled via email. We take your privacy seriously and ensure your personal information is managed securely and in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cockatoo Embroidery does not collect any Sensitive Data including details of your race, ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, health, genetic or biometric data, criminal convictions or offences.

Your Personal Information may be used to offer you new products and services, notify you of new developments to our existing products and services, or any other commercial communication including letting you know about the goods and services of any of our affiliates and/or Commercial Partners. Any data collected through cookies will be used in accordance with our Cookie Policy and our own Privacy Policy and other relevant third party privacy policies (including our Commercial Partners).

Cockatoo Embroidery may use some Google features as outlined below. Google uses data when you use their partners' sites or apps. 

Cockatoo Embroidery may use Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising tool used to promote products and services on Google Search, YouTube and other sites across the web. You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page. 

Cockatoo Embroidery may use Google AdWords’ remarketing feature to advertise our Website on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors. This would be in the form of an advertisement tailored to you on the Google search results page, on a site in the Google Display Network, or on other third-party websites and apps (including social media). In order to provide this feature, Cockatoo Embroidery, Google & other third-party providers may use cookies and other advertising technologies to recognise you as you use and return to our Website. Cockatoo Embroidery may use Google Analytics which collects statistical, non-identifying information about visitors to the Website through cookies. It transmits website data to Google servers in the United States. 

Cockatoo Embroidery may use Google Tag Manager to manage tags (such as measurement and marketing optimisation JavaScript tags) to support Google Analytics, including to some of our Commercial Partners. Google may collect your data in course of providing this service but will not share such data with any other Google product without consent. Google shall collect such information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. 11. Shopify Payment Service
Payment for all orders must be made at the time of checkout. Orders will not be commenced, processed, or dispatched until full payment has been received.

We currently use Shopify Payments as our primary payment provider. Shopify Payments allows customers to pay using major credit and debit cards, as well as other payment methods enabled through Shopify. All payments made via Shopify Payments are subject to Shopify’s Payment Services Agreement.

Cockatoo Embroidery does not store full credit card details. All payment information is handled securely by Shopify Payments, a PCI DSS-compliant provider. By making a payment, you consent to your data being processed by Shopify Payments in accordance with their privacy and security policies.

Cockatoo Embroidery is not responsible for delays, errors, or declines arising from third-party payment processors. Additional payment methods may be offered from time to time and will be displayed at checkout.

If payment is not received in full or is reversed for any reason, we may cancel your order. We cannot guarantee that items or services will remain available if you attempt to reorder at a later date.

12. Security of Your Personal Information
We will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information from interference, misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or unauthorised disclosure. We endeavour to take reasonable steps to see that your Personal Information is protected while stored by us, and de-identified once no longer required.

Although we use best efforts to maintain security of your information, unfortunately no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure and you acknowledge that we will not be liable in the event that your personal information is accessed or disclosed due to reasons beyond our control, including but not limited to hacking from a third party.

    If there is a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganisation or liquidation of Cockatoo Embroidery then, in our sole discretion, we may transfer, sell or assign Personal Information collected to one or more relevant third-parties provided that such third parties agrees only to use information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation.
